- 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 3/4 cup mozzarella cheese (divided)
- 1/2 cup hot sauce
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 3 green onions (thinly sliced, white and green parts divided)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a large mixing bowl, stir together the cream cheese, garlic powder, white parts of the green onion, and sour cream until well combined.
- Add in ½ cup of cheddar and ½ cup of mozzarella cheese, reserving the remaining 1/4 cup of mozzarella for topping.
- Mix in the hot sauce and shredded chicken until everything is thoroughly coated.
- Transfer the dip into an oven-safe dish, smoothly spreading it out. Top it with the remaining cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until hot and cheese is bubbly. Optionally, broil for an extra 1-2 minutes for a browned top.
- Garnish with the remaining green onion slices before serving.
Notes
This dip can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours before baking.
