Description

A creamy, zesty dip combining shredded chicken with cheeses and hot sauce, perfect for parties or cozy nights.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3/4 cup mozzarella cheese (divided)
  • 1/2 cup hot sauce
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 3 green onions (thinly sliced, white and green parts divided)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, stir together the cream cheese, garlic powder, white parts of the green onion, and sour cream until well combined.
  3. Add in ½ cup of cheddar and ½ cup of mozzarella cheese, reserving the remaining 1/4 cup of mozzarella for topping.
  4. Mix in the hot sauce and shredded chicken until everything is thoroughly coated.
  5. Transfer the dip into an oven-safe dish, smoothly spreading it out. Top it with the remaining cheese.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until hot and cheese is bubbly. Optionally, broil for an extra 1-2 minutes for a browned top.
  7. Garnish with the remaining green onion slices before serving.

Notes

This dip can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours before baking.
