- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained
- 1 cup uncooked macaroni
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned; drain excess fat.
- Add the chopped onion and garlic; cook until the onions are translucent.
- Stir in the diced tomatoes, kidney beans, uncooked macaroni, beef broth, oregano, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 15 minutes.
- Transfer the mixture to a casserole dish and sprinkle cheese on top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
