Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
  • 1 can kidney beans (15 oz), drained and rinsed
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup beef broth

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with the chopped onion and minced garlic until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  2. Transfer the cooked beef mixture to the crockpot.
  3. Add the diced tomatoes, kidney beans, bell pepper, chili powder, cumin, beef broth, salt, and pepper to the crockpot.
