- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
- 1 can kidney beans (15 oz), drained and rinsed
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup beef broth
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with the chopped onion and minced garlic until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
- Transfer the cooked beef mixture to the crockpot.
- Add the diced tomatoes, kidney beans, bell pepper, chili powder, cumin, beef broth, salt, and pepper to the crockpot.
- Stir to combine all ingredients well.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
