A delightful homemade butter pecan ice cream that combines creamy flavors with roasted pecans for a delicious dessert experience.

- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup roasted pecans
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
Instructions
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the brown sugar until dissolved and remove from heat to cool.
- In a separate bowl, combine heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, and vanilla extract, mixing until well blended.
- Add the cooled butter and brown sugar mixture to the cream mixture and stir to combine.
- Gently fold in the roasted pecans.
- Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.
- Transfer to a lidded container and freeze for at least 4 hours until firm.
- Scoop, serve, and enjoy!
Notes
For best results, use high-fat cream and chill the mixture prior to churning. Can be experimented with additional flavors and ingredients.
