- 1 cup whole milk
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup cherry puree (or chopped cherries)
- 1/2 cup cherry pieces (optional)
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, and vanilla extract until the sugar is completely dissolved.
- Stir in the cherry puree and add a pinch of salt to enhance the flavors.
- If desired, fold in the optional cherry pieces for added texture.
- Pour the mixture into your ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions for about 20 to 25 minutes.
- Transfer the soft ice cream into an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.

Notes
For a creamier texture, chill the mixture in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours before churning. Store in an airtight container for up to two weeks.
