- 2 bananas
- 1 cup pineapple chunks (drained)
- 1 cup mandarin oranges (drained)
- 1 cup maraschino cherries
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
- 1/2 cup sweetened shredded coconut (optional)
- 1 cup whipped topping
- 1/2 cup sour cream
Instructions
- Prepare the fruits by draining the canned pineapple chunks and mandarin oranges well.
- Peel and slice the bananas into thick coins and toss with lemon juice to prevent browning.
- In a large bowl, combine whipped topping and sour cream and mix until smooth.
- Gently fold in the pineapple, mandarin oranges, bananas, maraschino cherries, mini marshmallows, and coconut (if using).
- Cover with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
- Stir gently before serving to refresh the salad.
