Description

A refreshing homemade peach ice cream that is easy to make and bursting with flavor from fresh peaches.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds fresh peaches, peeled, pitted, and chopped
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 pint half-and-half cream
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 (12 fluid ounce) can evaporated milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups whole milk, or as needed

Instructions

  1. Dice the fresh peaches and mix them with the sugar in a bowl. Allow to macerate for about 30 minutes.
  2. In another bowl, combine the half-and-half, sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and vanilla extract. Stir well.
  3. Add the peach and sugar mixture to the creamy mixture and stir to combine.
  4. Pour the mixture into an ice cream freezer container and add whole milk to reach the fill line.
  5. Freeze according to your ice cream maker’s instructions until desired consistency is reached.

Notes

For a smoother texture, blend the peach mixture in a food processor before combining. You can use frozen peaches if fresh ones are unavailable.
