Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds fresh peaches – peeled, pitted, and chopped

  • 1 (12 fluid ounce) can evaporated milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Dicing the fresh peaches and mixing them with the sugar in a bowl. Let sit for about 30 minutes.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine half-and-half, sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and vanilla extract; whisk until blended.
  3. Gently fold in the peach and sugar mixture.
  4. Pour the mixture into a gallon ice cream freezer container, adding whole milk to fill up to the fill line.
  5. Cool the ice cream container in the freezer before pouring in the mixture. Freeze according to your ice cream maker’s instructions.

Notes

Use ripe peaches for the best flavor; frozen peaches can be used as a substitute. For creamier texture, consider using full-fat ingredients.
