Description

A simple and delicious baked chicken recipe with barbecue sauce and melted cheese, perfect for busy nights.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup of barbecue sauce
  • 1 cup of shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Place the chicken in a baking dish and pour the barbecue sauce over it.
  4. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  5. Remove the foil, sprinkle cheese on top, and return to the oven for an additional 10 minutes.
  6. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Check the internal temperature to ensure chicken is cooked to 165°F (75°C).
