- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
- 1/2 cup raisins
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 4×8 inch loaf pan.
- Mix the melted butter with the mashed bananas until well combined.
- Stir in the baking soda and salt.
- Add sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract; mix until smooth.
- Incorporate the flour, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the walnuts and raisins gently.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
