Description

Ingredients

  • 3 large bananas (or 4 small bananas)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F, grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan, and set it aside.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, mash the bananas until smooth.
  3. Add the melted butter to the mashed bananas and whisk until fully combined.
  4. Incorporate the sugar, then add the eggs and vanilla extract. Whisk again until mixed well.
  5. Add the dry ingredients: Stir in flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Fold everything together until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the pre-greased loaf pan.
  7. Bake for about 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  8. Cool on a wire rack for 5-10 minutes before transferring to cool completely.
