Description

Ingredients

  • 6 slices of bread
  • 2 cups of fresh blueberries
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • Butter for greasing

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish with butter.
  2. Cut the bread into cubes and place half of them in the baking dish.
  3. Sprinkle half of the blueberries over the bread.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and sugar.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the bread and blueberries, then top with the remaining bread and blueberries.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden and the egg is set.
  7. Serve warm, optionally topped with syrup or powdered sugar.
