Description

A delightful twist on classic banana bread, infused with snickerdoodle flavors and topped with cinnamon-sugar for an irresistible treat.


Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar (for topping)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Mash the bananas in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
  3. Add granulated sugar, brown sugar, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract; mix until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk. Stir gently until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  7. Mix the cinnamon-sugar topping ingredients and sprinkle evenly over the batter.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  9. Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  10. Slice and enjoy!
