Description

A creamy, cheesy Spinach and Artichoke Dip that is perfect for game days, holiday gatherings, or cozy nights in. This dip combines fresh spinach and artichoke hearts with a rich blend of cheeses.


Ingredients

  • 1 (10 oz) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
  • 1 (14 oz) can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 0.5 cup sour cream
  • 0.25 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 0.25 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Thaw and squeeze dry the spinach.
  2. Drain and chop the artichoke hearts.
  3. In a large bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Mix until smooth.
  4. Add garlic, chopped artichokes, spinach, half of the mozzarella, and all the Parmesan. Mix well.
  5. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using. Taste and adjust seasoning.
  6. Transfer the mixture into an oven-safe baking dish.
  7. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella on top.
  8. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes, or until bubbly and golden.
  9. Let cool slightly before serving with chips, bread, or veggies.

Notes

For a healthier version, substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream and reduce the amount of cheese. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-5 days.
