Description

Sweet, buttery cookies bursting with fresh strawberry flavor, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • Strawberry jam
  • Buttercream frosting (optional for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Gradually add in the flour, mixing until combined.
  4. Roll the dough into small balls and place them on a baking sheet.
  5. Flatten each ball slightly with the bottom of a glass.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  7. Let cookies cool completely.
  8. Once cooled, spread a layer of strawberry jam on one cookie and top with another to sandwich them together.
  9. Add buttercream frosting on top if desired for extra decoration.
