Description

A delightful dish combining the rich flavors of salmon with the sweetness of brown sugar, resulting in a beautifully caramelized crust and tender fish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Mix together brown sugar, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a small bowl to create the glaze.
  2. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  3. Brush the salmon fillets with the brown sugar glaze.
  4. Place the salmon on the grill, skin side down, and cook for 4-6 minutes.
  5. Flip the salmon and brush with more glaze, cooking for an additional 4-6 minutes or until cooked through.
  6. Remove from the grill and let rest before serving.

Notes

For best results, use fresh salmon fillets. Adjust sweetness by varying the brown sugar. This dish pairs well with grilled vegetables or a fresh salad.
