Cranberry Turkey Sliders Leftover Thanksgiving

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Diet: Not specified

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (12 count) soft Hawaiian sweet rolls or dinner rolls
  • 2 cups cooked turkey, shredded or thinly sliced
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce (jellied or whole berry)
  • 8 slices Swiss cheese or provolone cheese
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with non-stick spray or a little butter.
  2. Keep the rolls connected and use a long serrated knife to slice the entire block of rolls in half horizontally.
  3. Place the bottom half of the rolls into the prepared baking dish.
  4. Layer half of the cheese slices evenly over the bottom rolls.
  5. Spread the shredded turkey in an even layer over the cheese.
  6. Carefully spread the cranberry sauce over the turkey layer.
  7. Place the remaining cheese slices on top of the cranberry sauce.
  8. Cover with the top half of the rolls.
  9. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, and dried parsley.
  10. Brush the butter mixture generously over the tops of the rolls, letting some drip down the sides. Sprinkle the poppy seeds evenly over the top.
  11. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil. Bake for 15 minutes.
  12. Remove the foil and bake for another 5 to 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown and slightly toasted.
  13. Let the sliders cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
