Low Carb Pizza Casserole with Ground Beef

Low Carb Pizza Casserole with Ground Beef

  • Total Time: 34 minute
  • Diet: Low-Carb, Keto, Gluten-Free, Halal

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb Lean Ground Beef
  • 1/2 cup Halal Beef Pepperoni slices
  • 1/2 cup Cooked Beef Sausage crumbles (halal)
  • 1.5 cups Sugar-Free Marinara Sauce
  • 2 cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1/4 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 1/2 cup Diced Green Bell Peppers
  • 1/4 cup Sliced Black Olives
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • Salt and Black Pepper to taste
  • Fresh Basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×9 inch baking dish with olive oil or cooking spray.
  2. Place a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook until it is completely browned, breaking it into small crumbles with a spatula.
  3. Once the beef is cooked, drain the excess grease from the pan to ensure the casserole isn’t oily.
  4. Stir in the sugar-free marinara sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until the flavors meld.
  5. Pour the beef mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it out into an even layer.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and grated parmesan cheese evenly over the meat base.
  7. Top the cheese with the beef pepperoni slices, beef sausage crumbles, diced bell peppers, and black olives.
  8. Place the dish in the oven and bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and starting to turn golden brown around the edges.
  9. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving. This helps the juices settle so the casserole stays together better.
  10. Garnish with fresh basil if desired and enjoy!
