Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups unsweetened cranberry juice (100% juice is best)
- 1 cup fresh orange juice
- 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
- 2 to 3 tablespoons honey or simple syrup (adjust to taste)
- 3 cups sparkling water, club soda, or ginger ale
- Fresh cranberries for garnish
- Fresh rosemary sprigs for garnish
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- In a large pitcher, combine the cranberry juice, orange juice, and lime juice.
- Add the honey or simple syrup to the juice mixture. Stir vigorously until the sweetener is completely dissolved.
- Taste the mixture. If it is too tart, add a little more sweetener. Keep in mind that the sparkling water will dilute the flavor slightly.
- Chill the juice base in the refrigerator for at least one hour before serving.
- When ready to serve, fill tall glasses or festive goblets with ice cubes.
- Pour the juice mixture into each glass until it is about half full.
- Top off each glass with sparkling water or ginger ale.
- Gently stir with a long spoon to mix the layers without losing the bubbles.
- Drop a few fresh cranberries into each glass and tuck in a sprig of rosemary.
- Serve immediately while the drink is cold and bubbly.
- Cook Time: at least one hour
