Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Rinse the turkey wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
- In a large bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, thyme, broth, and lemon juice.
- Toss the turkey wings in the marinade until they are evenly coated.
- Let the wings marinate for 30 minutes to absorb the flavors.
Cooking
- Lightly grease a large baking dish with olive oil.
- Arrange the marinated wings in a single layer, skin side up.
- Pour any remaining marinade over the wings.
- Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour.
- Remove the foil and bake uncovered for an additional 30 minutes.
- Check that the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) before removing from the oven.
Notes
Leftover Baked Turkey Wings can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. To reheat, place them in the oven at a low temperature until warmed through. For longer storage, you can freeze the wings for up to 3 months. Marinating the wings overnight enhances flavor, and you can experiment with different herbs and spices.
