  • ½ cup Honey
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Oil (optional)
  • ½ cup Water

Method

Preparation
  1. In a pot, add enough water to cover all the eggs. Add salt and vinegar. Turn the heat up to medium-high and bring the water to a simmer.

  4. Peel the eggs carefully and set them aside.
Marinate
  1. In a container, add minced garlic, chopped green peppers, red chili, green onions, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, and water. Mix everything until combined.
  2. Add the peeled eggs to the marinade, ensuring they are fully covered.
  3. Let the eggs rest in the fridge for at least 2 hours, or better yet, overnight.
Serving
  1. Serve with a bowl of hot rice and enjoy!

Notes

Marinated eggs are best served cold or at room temperature. For extra flavor, let the eggs marinate overnight. Make sure to cook the eggs for exactly 6 minutes for the perfect soft-boiled texture. Adjust spiciness by adding or omitting the red chili as desired.
