Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Arrange the Club crackers in a single layer on the sheet.
Toffee Preparation
- In a medium saucepan, combine softened butter and brown sugar over medium heat.
- Stir until the mixture boils, then let it bubble for 3-4 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
Assembly and Baking
- Pour the toffee over the arranged crackers, spreading it evenly.
- Sprinkle the chopped pecans over the toffee-coated crackers, pressing them gently.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and cool for about 15 minutes.
- Cut into squares or rectangles with a sharp knife.
Serving
- Serve on a platter, optionally garnished with sea salt or a chocolate drizzle.
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week, or refrigerate for longer storage. Let come to room temperature before serving.
