  • 8 oz pasta (any shape) Short pasta shapes like elbow macaroni or fusilli hold the dressing well.
  • 1 cup dill pickles, chopped Adds tangy crunch.
  • 1/2 cup red onion, diced Provides flavor and color.
  • 1/2 cup celery, diced Adds crunch.
Dressing Ingredients
  • 1 cup mayonnaise Base of the creamy dressing.
  • 2 tablespoons pickle juice Enhances flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Adds seasoning.
  • Salt and pepper to taste For seasoning.
  • Fresh dill for garnish (optional) Garnish for freshness.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions; drain and cool.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cooled pasta, chopped pickles, red onion, and celery.
  3. In a separate smaller bowl, mix the mayonnaise, pickle juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour the dressing over the pasta mixture and stir until well combined.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  6. Garnish with fresh dill if desired.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. The flavors will continue to develop, making the salad even more delicious on the following days.
