Ingredients
  

Fruits & Cheese
  • 6–8 pieces fresh figs, halved Choose ripe figs for best results.
  • 1 wheel Brie cheese Optionally warm for a melty texture.
Condiments & Spreads
  • 2–3 tbsp honey Drizzle over figs and Brie.
  • 1 tbsp olive oil Use extra virgin for best flavor.
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme or rosemary Fresh herbs enhance flavor.
  • 1 cup hummus Choose classic or roasted garlic.
  • 1 cup tzatziki Can substitute with herbed spreads.
Vegetables & Nuts
  • 1 handful mixed olives (Kalamata, green, herbed) Add variety with different types.
  • 1 cup sliced cucumbers For crunch and freshness.
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes Add a pop of color.
  • 1 cup toasted walnuts or pistachios Optional, but adds nice texture.
Seasoning
  • sea salt flakes To taste.
  • cracked black pepper To taste.
Bread
  • 1 package pita bread or toasted baguette slices For serving with spreads.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place the halved figs on a baking tray. Drizzle with honey, olive oil, thyme, and a pinch of sea salt.
  3. Roast for 10–12 minutes until soft, caramelized, and lightly bubbling.
Assembly
  1. Place the Brie wheel in the center of a serving board. Optionally, warm it in the oven for about 5 minutes for a melty texture.
  2. Arrange hummus, tzatziki, olives, cucumbers, tomatoes, nuts, and bread around the Brie.
  3. Add the roasted figs on top of the Brie or around the board for a pop of color.
  4. Drizzle extra honey over the Brie and figs, then finish with cracked pepper and sea salt flakes.

Notes

Presentation matters: Use a large wooden or marble board for serving. Encourage guests to mix and match flavors for an interactive experience.
