Method
 

Refrigerator Thawing
  1. Place the frozen lobster tails in a bowl or on a plate.
  2. Cover them with plastic wrap to prevent odors from the fridge from affecting the taste.
  3. Leave the lobster tails in the refrigerator for 8-10 hours or overnight.
Cold Water Thawing
  1. Seal the lobster tails in a plastic bag, ensuring it’s airtight.
  2. Submerge the bag in a large bowl of cold water.
  3. Change the water every 30 minutes for about 30-60 minutes, or until thawed.
Quick Thawing Method
  1. Fill a bowl with cold water and ice.
  2. Seal the lobster tails in a plastic bag and place them in the icy water.
  3. Let them sit for about 15-30 minutes until fully thawed.

Notes

Once thawed, serve with melted butter or in lobster rolls. Store thawed tails in the refrigerator for up to 1-2 days, and any cooked leftovers can be kept for up to 3 days.
